Stronger Together

5% of Sales on Gotengo will go to the St. Michael's Hospital Courage Fund for those affected by COVID-19

During this global pandemic, it has been inspiring to see so many Canadians step up and show support for their neighbours and the greater community. There are countless stories of people buying groceries for their older neighbours, people using their own social channels to promote their local cafe/restaurants, and volunteers showing up in heartening numbers to do everything from donating blood to helping on the frontlines of healthcare. These acts of kindness are just so ... Canadian.

We wanted to find a way to support those going above and beyond during this crisis, so we have decided to give 5% of our sales to the St. Michael's Hospital Courage Fund. We'll be partnering with Slavin Raphael, a renowned Canadian apparel distributor and owner of Tiger of Sweden Toronto for this initiative. They will be kindly contributing half of the donations on Tiger of Sweden products sold through Gotengo.

For those unaware, St. Michael's Hospital is located in the heart of downtown Toronto, and sees over 1 million visits each year. The St. Michael's Courage Fund supports those impacted by COVID-19. Specifically, the money goes towards our homeless and vulnerable community members who need food, clothing, toiletries and more; for our palliative care patients who need tablets to speak with loved ones who can't be by their sides; and for St. Michael?s frontline staff who need food and other essentials to keep them going, and the machines and diagnostic tests to prepare for what's ahead.

We are overjoyed to see the charitable actions Canadians are taking during this difficult time. We encourage you to find a way to get involved, if you can. Even if the actions are small, they are meaningful, helpful and always appreciated! We?re all stronger together!
